Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LemonScanner ("the Service") at lemonscanner.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What LemonScanner Is
LemonScanner is a digital tool that generates informational pre-purchase inspection reports for used vehicles. Reports are based on information you provide (VIN, mileage, engine codes, etc.) combined with publicly available vehicle data and general automotive knowledge.
LemonScanner is not:
- A licensed mechanic or professional inspection service
- A substitute for an in-person inspection by a qualified mechanic
- A guarantee of a vehicle's condition, history, or reliability
No Warranty on Report Accuracy
Reports are provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of any report. Vehicle condition, history, and pricing data can vary significantly — always verify information independently.
LemonScanner shall not be held liable for any purchase decision you make based on a report, including any loss, damage, or expense arising from a vehicle purchase.
Payment & Refunds
Reports are available for a one-time fee of $34.00 USD per vehicle, processed securely via Stripe.
Because reports are generated and delivered digitally and immediately upon purchase, all sales are generally final. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from receiving your report, contact us at hello@lemonscanner.com and we will make it right.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the report generation system
- Resell or redistribute reports commercially without written permission
- Submit false or misleading vehicle information
Intellectual Property
The LemonScanner name, logo, report design, and underlying software are owned by LemonScanner. Reports generated for you may be used for your personal vehicle purchase decisions. You may not reproduce or distribute the report format or system commercially.
Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party providers including Stripe for payment processing and the NHTSA public API for VIN decoding. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LemonScanner's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report in question ($34.00).
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the state in which LemonScanner is registered.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
